What are you going to do as a Service Manager / Coördinator?

The Service Manager/Coordinator is an important link between the client and the service engineers to provide them with the right information for preparation, execution and after-care so that the work (worldwide) is structured. The quality of execution of the work is high, enabling us to exceed the customer's expectations. A job full of dynamics and a lot of responsibility. Creativity and flexibility are necessary for success in this job. You are involved from start to finish.  You constantly interact with our customers (shipping companies, shipyards, captains), agents, service partners and our service engineers, being the first point of contact. You work closely with the Sales department. One week per about 6 weeks you take part in the duty week.

Specifically, your duties are:

  • Answering service requests, preparing quotations, planning;
  • managing the service team;
  • responsible for service and guarantees;
  • approval of days off Service team;
  • control and approval of Time Sheets;
  • establishing and monitoring KPIs (productivity);
  • registering services, checking stock;
  • drawing up quotations and providing technical advice to customers;
  • follow-up customers (on service requests).
Profile

  • Bachelor Commercial direction, Business Administration (or equivalent through experience);
  • ASO 3rd degree Economics - Modern Languages;
  • being proactive and a team player is a must;
  • excellent communication skills;
  • commercial and customer-oriented;
  • independent;
  • excellent knowledge of Dutch and English in word and writing. French is a plus;
  • a minimum of experience in coordination is required;
  • maritime as well as technical knowledge is a plus;
  • knowledge of MS Office and Navision is a plus;
  • driving license B.
