Esther de Reus

Executive Secretary

For 12.5 years, Esther's been with Alphatron Marine, from Sales Support to Secretary. She values the familial teamwork, embodying Rotterdam's spirit, and enjoys the dynamic office location.

Alphatron Marine family

For 12.5 years, Esther has been a part of the Alphatron Marine family! She started as a Sales Support employee for the Yachting department and eventually moved into the role of Secretary for our Management. In the past years, she has been primarily working as Secretary, but since 2019 she has been supporting our Marketing department as well. ''At Alphatron Marine, I have always felt like I was part of a family. Our team of colleagues work together to create a warm and supportive environment, where everyone can rely on one another. We strive to create a group culture, making sure that all of us can succeed together'' says Esther.

Never a day the same

''At Alphatron Marine, my current job involves arranging business travels and travels for our service engineers to attend vessels (abroad), supporting the management with all activities, assisting with exhibitions, meetings and customer events, and taking care of our social media, website, and intranet. In addition, we are actually a jack of all trades in our department and also very busy with newsletters, press releases, giveaways, campaigns, making videos, etc. A working day can therefore look different every day. For example, I can start the day with writing minutes, then update our social media accounts, book business trips for our colleagues, create and review text for our website, attend a meeting for an upcoming event and end the day by updating the mailboxes.''

Rotterdam

''As a person born and raised in Rotterdam, where we have a down-to-earth mindset and like to roll up our sleeves, I love the hectic but marvelous maritime world and being able to be part of it. And then also have the privilege of working at an office located along the Maas river, with a view at the Van Brienenoord bridge and De Kuip football stadium!'' says Esther.
