JRC | Alphatron Marine launches the podcast NavCom Inside. Watch the first episode now! A podcast about the world of marine electronics. What is behind the development of communication and navigation equipment? How do ships innovate with global developments? And to what extent is this technology determined by environmental legislation and safety? Innovators from the maritime sector, both external experts and enthusiastic employees, have their say.
Bert Broek, Superintendent at Stena Line, is responsible for the safety of ships on the busy North Sea on a daily basis and is one of the guests who speaks in this first podcast with the theme of safety. Discussion leader Nathalie Lans also questions Dennis van den Akker (Teamleader Communication Service Engineers) and Edwin Weber (Sales Communications & IT/AV) from Alphatron Marine. Various safety aspects are discussed in this regard. From fire prevention to the restrictions of strict legislation within the offshore and maritime industry. It is also interesting to hear that the Corona pandemic has accelerated the development from analog to digital. In short, an interesting new podcast that can be listened to on Spotify, YouTube and Soundcloud.
