SN50

The Simrad SN50 is a compact, powerful matrix sonar that can be used as a multibeam echo sounder, seine sonar, trawl sonar, or navigation aid. With an adjustable frequency from 55 to 59 kHz and a range of up to 2,500 meters (depending on acoustic conditions), the SN50 delivers outstanding performance for both small fishing vessels and larger ships.

All transceiver electronics are fully integrated into the transducer, reducing cabling requirements and minimizing interference. Featuring 144 individual elements, each with its own transmitter and receiver, the SN50 delivers razor-sharp images. The compact processor unit and connection via a single Ethernet and power cable make installation quick and simple, even in confined spaces.

The familiar Simrad interface, available in more than 20 languages, ensures easy operation. Electronic tilt (+10° to -60°) and built-in stabilization guarantee optimal performance, even in rough seas. Operators can store settings, review data, and customize presentations for a clear and reliable view, whatever the application.
