Following the considerable market demand for the non-academic ECDIS training (IMO model course 1.27) by Alphatron Marine, we have expanded the size of the group from 4 to 8 participants for each course from 1 January 2014. This practical training takes place at least fortnightly in a professional environment with other experienced navigation officers.

As the COVID-19 virus continues to pose a threat in daily life and business operations, a safe and healthy (work) environment onboard and ashore is more than ever our priority. Alphatron Marine, in close collaboration with Alphatron Security and Alphatron Medical, contributes to this need by introducing the Body Temperature Measurement Camera which is able to measure object’s temperature at a high accuracy in real time, with accuracy up to ±0.5°C.
