Dear esteemed customers and partners,
The coronavirus situation is evolving on a daily basis. Alphatron Marine is aware that this is raising many questions, as many customers have contacted us to check how we are handling this situation. Therefore, we would like to give you an update through this letter.
Alphatron Marine is monitoring the situation and keeping track on the progress of the coronavirus via the RIVM (the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment). They monitor the situation with international partners, including the World Health Organization (WHO), and provide information on new developments regarding the virus.
Alphatron Marine is taking preventive measures, in line with the RIVM guidelines, to ensure a healthy work environment and to keep our staff members safe. In order to do so we are limiting company travel and repatriating staff members that are abroad at this moment. We are urging staff members that have symptoms to stay at home and we are asking staff members to work from home where possible.
Alphatron Marine is closely monitoring the status of the ongoing orders and projects in order to provide the level of service that you may expect from us, but the above mentioned measures may result in a limited capacity in service, delivery and training for the time being. If we see any deadlines getting compromised due to the consequences of COVID-19, we are contacting our customers and partners to discuss the matter.
Please be assured that we will do all we can to safeguard safe sailing and operations of our customers.
President Alphatron Marine BV
