First delivery of AlphaBridge in Asia

JRC and Alphatron Marine are pleased to announce the delivery of the first AlphaBridge in Asia for Fukada Salvage of Japan. The premium multi-function integrated bridge was installed on the 78-meter subsea operation (ROV mother) vessel Poseidon-1.

Design has become increasingly important over the years, given the constant growing complexity of maritime technology. Working closely with the owner a full 3D proposal of the ship’s bridge layout was created, something which is becoming more standard at the start of all new projects. The owner was impressed at this early stage design, realizing the strength of the ergonomically designed AlphaBridge, offering intuitive, comfortable operation of all navigation, dynamic positioning, control and communications systems that contribute to safe passage. The delivery consisted of a fore bridge, aft bridge, multiple chairs on rails, GMDSS, communication and electronic chart working areas. Together with owner and shipyard, the best possible configurations were selected, keeping it solid and stable, without compromising on a sleek overall design. The console building and prefabrication of consoles was done in the Netherlands and final assembly was in Japan. We feel this is only the beginning and a clear example of what happens when Japanese quality meets Dutch innovation, resulting in the first AlphaBridge success in Asia
