Non-academic atmosphere
Bridges, operation and maintenance are becoming increasingly complex, which is why demand for training in general and our practical training in particular is growing. Our hands-on ECDIS training takes place at least fortnightly in a professional environment with other navigation officers. In the training sessions the electronic maps are adjusted to the real-life scenarios on the large, full mission bridge simulators. We give training to small groups and there is a simulator available for each participant so that everyone can get the most out of the training. Enrol for training in Rotterdam
Our website contains an up-to-date training schedule as well as the availability per training. You can enrol directly via the site. Up to 8 people may participate in the two or five-day ECDIS training courses. Customised training
In addition to the standard training, we are always prepared to customise the training specific to customer requirements, for instance an informative program for superintendents or HR staff interested in law and legislation, hardware and electronic map requirements and system maintenance. This training can be at our head office in Rotterdam, on board your vessel or at any location throughout the world. We take our mobile classroom with us. In the shipping industry it is handy to be able to plan training on days and time that fit in with the sailing schedule; that is why the training is available 7 days a week. We can respond very quickly: in practice we sometimes get a request on a Friday and the training begins on the Monday. Other training
Apart from the ECDIS training, you can also follow the Integrated Bridge System IMO Model 1.32 training (NEW), JRC product training (NEW) and Alphatron product training at Alphatron.
