As of now Alphatron Marine is authorized to perform Rutter and Netwave (S) –VDR installations, commissioning, service and APT’s (Annual Performance Test) aboard of vessels. Aphatron Marine has certified engineers employed in Rotterdam, Belgium and Germany.
Alphatron Marine was already certified to service (S) VDR’s of JRC (Japan Radio Company) and Consilium, beginning of 2012 both subsidiaries Alphatron Marine and Alphatron Deutschland GmbH were already Netwave certified. With the authorization of Rutter Alphatron can now comply to the demand of service even better and faster.
Netwave is a quality manufacturer who designs computers for the maritime industry. Last year, Netwave took over the VDR branch of Rutter. By doing this they became the largest supplier of (S) – VDR’s. Netwave (S) – VDR’s are specifically designed for storing information about the primary systems of marine and offshore vessels. The so called ‘black box” on vessels.
